Youth Summer Martial Arts Camps | June 18-22, July 23-27 and Aug. 6-10
These camps will introduce children ages five to 12 to all aspects of martial arts. Offered for all ability levels and operated by Vail Martial Arts Academy instructor Mathew Bayley, they include instruction on all major Japanese, Korean, Chinese and American martial arts. Instruction also covers the national, award-winning Alert Kids Kidnap Prevention Program. The camp takes place from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost is $150 per child. Call 970-949-8121 for details.
Young Warriors Martial Arts Program - twice a week
3:30 to 4:30 p.m. or 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Mondays & Wednesdays | 2011-12 school year, beginning Sept. 22 | Ages 6 to 12 | Vail Gymnastic Center | $125 per month
With a 7th degree Black Belt in American Kenpo, a Third degree Black Belt in Ju-Jitsu and a Black Sash in Kung Fu, Master Bayley has created an eclectic martial arts program that will develop your child into the complete martial athlete. This approach brings out the best in each child and is the perfect cross-training program for other sports A professional educator for over thirty years, with a commendation from the Commissioner of Education for the State of Colorado, Master of the Martial Arts Master Bayley has a gift for instilling self-esteem, confidence and self-discipline in his students that can be carried through the rest of their daily lives. All taught within a light and entertaining environment.

Adult Personal Protection Program
5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays | Adults | Vail Gymnastic Center | $125 per month
This is the only Adult Martial Arts Program in the State that caters to Baby Boomers. At 61-years-old, and a professional close quarter combat instructor for the military and law enforcement for over 30 years, Matt Bayley has developed a personal-protection program with one end in mind: To teach students over the age of 40 to learn to protect his/herself and their family from violent criminals without getting hurt during training. Extensive study of knife and stick fighting and the use of everyday tools (ice scrapers etc.) are a fundamental part of this program
